Added

Added new smooth terrain imported from the old world. The full terrain smoothing pass will come in the next big release
Added new high res ground terrain textures, new model trees, bushes, cactus, grass and destroyed building block pieces. Who says the apocalypse can¡¯t be a beautiful place.

Added new sun shaft and brighter moon
Added a new stealth system with minimap noise blips, zombie color aggression icons and an object throwing distraction system which currently works with small rocks and pipebombs. The system also uses food smells. Meats smell the most, then charred, grilled and boiled smelling the least. Carbs smell the least, raw or cooked, at least to zombies, so things like corn bread and blueberry pie that do not increase your health but can fill you up smell very little. You can now run away in the dark and crouch and lose enemies. No more zombie GPS!
Added a campfire cooking system with many newly and improved recipes. The system uses 4 cookware including a cooking pot, grilling plate, sharp stick or chemistry beaker. Having a specific cookware combined with your ingredients unlocks new recipes.
Added a new horde spawning system where player¡¯s noises contribute to the possibility of a horde spawning. Zombies no longer no exactly where you are day or night.
Added a new loot opening timer system. Crouching will take longer to open a loot container but make less noise. Take all gathers items quicker but makes more noise.
Added crafting time for crafting which improves the survival experience.
Added a new lighting model which allows point lights in the world and flashlights and torches to look better.
Added a flashlight binding key ¡®F¡¯ which toggles on and off your flashlight or new mining helmet if you have.
Added LOD for trees and large bushes and a slider in the video options that can be tuned to boost performance
Added new player spawn rules: New players in coop spawn near other players. Solo players spawn at start points. New players in PVP spawn at the nearest spawn 100 meters away from other players. If you quit and rejoin it spawns you where you were at. When you die if you don¡¯t have a bedroll its spawn you randomly 75 meters away from your death location. If you a bedroll and dies a selection comes 1. Spawn at bedroll 2. Spawn near from bedroll (75 meters away)
Added new drop on death and quit options drop nothing, everything, tool belt and backpack only.
Added new player dropped backpack model and map icon so you can find your loot. The system only displays your last dropped backpack and the backpack stays in the world until it¡¯s emptied.

Known Issues

When you light a pipebomb and don¡¯t throw it, it will explode but the pipebomb is not ¡°deleted¡±/removed from your inventory. If you die, all of them are dropped, including the one that exploded.
Players can sometimes get stuck in small vertical spaces less than 2 blocks high like on top of a cinder block or trash pile
Mac builds need to quit via the task manager
Rocket Launchers and Hunting Rifles cannot be broken down yet or crafted
Upgrading to Alpha 7 will sometimes cause players to lose key bindings go into options/controls/restore defaults and hit apply then close the game and start again to fix the problem
Augers and Chainsaw make idle sounds when they are out of gas
Sometimes trees are not rendered but their collision is there. The work around is to restart your server and restart your game. We will work on this for a patch.

Theme Park Studio is a powerful suite of tools that allow players to design, build, and experience stunning amusement parks of their own design. Players can build whatever they can imagine, and then share it online for others to experience.
'Theme Park Studio Professional Edition' is scheduled for use in 2014 by Intamin Amusement Rides to showcase their newest coaster designs. 

Theme Park Studio has been in development for 1 1/2 years and integrates our proprietary game engine and IDE used in the serious games industry.

Description


Developers Bohemia Interactive Studio released a game called " Day Z Standalone ". Day Z - mod to the popular game in the genre of tactical shooter with RPG elements "ArmA 2".
Modification determine the future of the game. It was better than the original version and proved the possibility of its independent existence. The game is Survival horror `th, it players trying to survive, fighting off the hungry crowds of zombies and other players. But the gameplay in " Standalone Day Z "more unique than one might think at first glance. Magicite's main influences were mainly Monster Hunter and Spelunky. I loved the resource collection and crafting in Monster Hunter, and of course fighting giant monsters with my friends. Spelunky's brutal yet rewarding platforming was also something that I wanted to capture with Magicite. 

Features currently implemented: 
Randomly Generated Dungeons - Experience a new dungeon each time you play. Expect tons of trees to chop, ores to mine, plants to harvest, and bugs to catch! Oh and giant monsters. 
Permanent Death - The game logs all of your stats in a play through, leading the way for achievements and upgrades. 
Crafting System - Combine any two items to create a new one! For example, Wood + Wood = Plank. There are tons of combinations to discover! 
Combat System - If you plan on just running in and swinging you sword, you're gonna get wrecked. Take time to craft useful items and examine enemy positioning before executing a well timed attack. 
Multiplayer - Want to put your friendships to the test? This is the game to do it! Permanent death only occurs when the ENTIRE party has fallen. So if your buddy gets knocked out feel free to run over and help him back up. Or not...

Description


The Memory of Eldurîm is a 3D open-world action RPG set in an original fantasy world. 
Terms like "Action RPG" and "Open world" get thrown around a lot these days, so let's be a bit more specific.
The Memory of Eldurîm is a 3rd/1st person game where you control a character that lives in an unique fantasy world. The combat is fast paced. You'll have to time your attacks, blocks, and dodges for maximum effectiveness. 

From the first second you get in the game you are able to go to any part of the game, granted you are strong enough to take on the enemies that reside there. There will be large cites and small towns, enchanting forests and icy mountain tops, there will be deserts, swamps, jungles, and any of the other biomes we can create. 

The game will reward you for your attention to which weapons and spells are strong and effective against which armor and composition types. Certain enemies will be easy with the right load-out but nearly impossible when approached unwisely. 

What makes this game special? 
We are indie developers with a serious passion for making games. Everything you see here was done by a team of less than 5 people who have put off searching for traditional employment without getting paid all with the hope that the community can understand that we want to make a game for the gamer. We are the first indie company to be approved for an indie license by CryTek to use the powerful CryEngine. 

We hear our community. We take your input as to what features get implemented and in what order. 

Of course this game will have a fantastic story line, magic, swords, bows, crafting, exploration, homes, mounts, mining, factions, side quests, stealth combat, and all the rest that a game such as this must have. We want to hear what else you think it needs. We want you to be involved in determining the future and the ultimate destiny of The Memory of Eldurîm. 

How does leveling work in The Memory of Eldurîm 
Instead of hard set levels from 1-99 you will become better at everything you do as you do it. If you hit an enemy with your sword you will immediately become better with swords. You'll even become a bit better at 1-handed weapons, and general combat. You gain health by taking hits and surviving through the damage, and you get more stamina the more you use it. Right now this applies to many aspects of the game, but it is our goal to spread this idea even more. 


But won't this eliminate a strong sense of progression? Leveling up feels so good! 

We do not want to cheapen the RPG experience in any way. We have added in other aspects of the game that are very discrete. For instance you'll unlock spells and combos the more you use a shard or weapon, and you'll unlock the potential of a weapon the more you use that weapon type. We are still balancing and experimenting with all the finer details but we don't want to rob you of the joy of leveling. We want to add to it in new and exciting ways. As always, we want to hear feedback and new ideas from the community. 


An Important Note: 

The Memory of Eldurîm is still in the alpha stage of development. This means that the game is not in a complete state and that future updates may delete saved games. It also means that you may encounter bugs, glitches, and exploits that are unintended aspects of the game. It also means, however, that you will be part of a living video game experience. You will see (and even help influence) rapid changes and growth as we develop the game to make it better and better. It is a different experience than buying a game that is already complete and ready for the shelf, but it is very rewarding.
